Frequently Asked Questions

Cheferential Treatment’s goal is to give each client the gift of time. Once you have had your initial consultation with Chef Pamela and completed the comprehensive food questionnaire, your hard work is over! Now all you have, to do is decide which customized entrée you would like to enjoy for dinner on any given evening.

  • All prospective clients have an initial meeting with the Chef
  • Each client completes a detailed food questionnaire, which provides the Chef with your unique dietary profile
  • The dietary profile is used by the Chef to create your customized menus
  • Menus are submitted to the client for approval
  • Once the menu is approved, on the scheduled “cook day” the Chef will:
    • grocery shop
    • prepare your meals
    • package and label the entrées
    • place the entrées in the refrigerator and/or freezer
    • leave detailed instructions on how to enjoy your customized menu items

  • All services are customized for each client; therefore, prices vary based on:
    • the number of entrées prepared per service
    • the frequency of the service
    • the number of dietary profiles involved per service

  • Food questionnaire/dietary profile
  • Custom designed menus
  • Grocery shopping
  • Cooking
  • Packaging, labeling and storing entrées
  • Clean-up

  • The frequency of the service is customized to suit each client’s personal needs
  • Services can be daily, weekly, bi-weekly, etc.

  • The Chef uses all of her own professional equipment
  • All the client provides are the kitchen appliances

  • It depends on the frequency of the service
  • The number of meals the Chef is preparing
  • The specific menu that has been selected
  • The amount of time varies but on average a service takes approximately 4-5 hours in the kitchen

  • If arrangements have been made in advance for the Chef to gain access to your house then no, you do not have to be home
  • However, if you choose to be home, please note that the kitchen is the Chef’s 'office' during the time it takes to prepare your meals

  • Packaging options are discussed at the initial consultation
  • There is a one-time container fee
  • A variety of containers are used depending on the entrées being stored
  • Clients may choose to use containers that can go straight from the fridge to the oven
  • Container choices accommodate the following: microwavable, refrigerator/freezer friendly, leak-resistant, and durable

  • Toronto and the GTA West area including: Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, etc.
